Starting a company has a lot of challenges as it is, we’ve reduced a few of them by creating a unique looking brand that customers can easily remember. As well, we create a website that helps users find the product they are looking for, and have an intuitive checkout process.
Strategy & Planning
During the initial research phase, we focused on how marijuana users behave when coming onto a website. We reviewed competitors in the field, as well as analyzed the imagery and content that helped increase the conversion ratio. Starting with a wireframe design, we laid out the essential blocks of the website. This allowed us to understand the flow of the entire website before applying any graphics.
Once we’ve figured out the best layout combination, we moved on the the graphics. From colours to fonts, the website design slowly started to take shape.
We then tested the ease of use through beta user testing to see where any confusions might have being occurring. After we studied the data accumulated, we made the necessary adjustments until the site flow was smooth without any speed bumps.
Creating the Luxe Leaf Extracts branding was a very important aspect of the project. Getting the right colour and font combination, along with the symbol and element placement, was quite a challenging process.
The goal was to create a logo design that is memorable to the target audience while representing a high end brand.

This font choice was made to have certain elements stand out. Its bold yet elegant look provided the key messages to pop at the reader.
We also used the regular weighted font style for the rest of the text as it was consistent and had a great flow while reading.
We’ve created a full E-Commerce website that lined up exactly with the client’s vision. An appealing front-end website design, with a simple to use back-end for product updates, order processing, and general changes.
